Direct Support Professional

The Direct Support Professional provides direct care, support, and companionship to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, helping them live full, independent, and self-directed lives within their homes and communities. The role promotes dignity, choice, and person-centered practices in all aspects of care, with a primary focus on Monroe, Metcalfe, and Hart County. The position involves assisting with daily living activities, community engagement, skill building, and maintaining health and safety standards. The DSP also handles documentation, compliance, and effective communication with individuals, families, and interdisciplinary teams.
