Director, Art Museum

The University of Memphis seeks an experienced museum leader to serve as Director of the Art Museum of the University of Memphis (AMUM), providing strategic and operational leadership for the museum, curating exhibitions, managing staff and budget, and teaching in the Department of Art and Design. The role involves sharpening the museum's identity as a teaching museum with a distinctive contemporary art program within a changing regional cultural landscape. The Director will also cultivate philanthropic and grant support and oversee the museum's interdisciplinary Graduate Certificate Program in Museum Studies.
