Director, Center for Immersive and Simulation-Based Learning (CISL)

The Director provides strategic leadership and vision for the Stanford School of Medicine’s Center for Immersive and Simulation-Based Learning (CISL), overseeing standardized patient education, technology-based simulation, and immersive learning programs. The role involves translating institutional priorities into innovative educational services, advancing emerging technologies like AI and XR, and fostering collaboration across the School, University, and healthcare education community. The Director also manages a team of professional staff, program operations, financial resources, and strategic initiatives to support the evolving needs of students, trainees, faculty, and healthcare professionals.
