About this role

The Director of Customer Security leads Salesforce's global Customer Response, Escalation, and Security Team (CREST) across the APAC region and US West Coast. This role involves personally owning complex, high-severity security incidents, including advanced data exfiltration investigations and regulatory notifications, while managing a distributed team and driving the transition to automated triage. The leader serves as the final technical authority on containment decisions and coordinates cross-functionally with Legal, Product Security, and Engineering.

Serve as final technical authority on containment decisions and executive communications
Own regional operations including staffing, capacity planning, and case assignment
Drive cross-functional engagement to close detection gaps and implement automation
Manage transition from manual investigation to AI-driven automated triage and scoping
