Director, Engineering Lead, In-House Accelerator

Engineering Lead, In-House Accelerator at Sun Life will be the first engineering hire responsible for building a startup-style innovation team that rapidly designs, builds, and scales transformative digital products, including an agentic AI platform and new client experience solutions. The role is hands-on and execution-focused initially—writing production code, making pragmatic architecture decisions, and shipping software in a regulated financial environment. Over time the lead will hire and mentor a high-caliber engineering team and take long-term ownership for scaling both technology and team culture.
