About this role

BMO is seeking an experienced technical leader to own the core infrastructure that governs and enforces how AI runs across the enterprise, including the AI Gateway, Policy Engine, and Identity Fabric. This build-and-run leadership role involves designing, shipping, and operating the control and orchestration infrastructure that ensures AI workloads are secure, compliant, and observable. The position requires a hands-on leader with deep engineering credibility to scale and formalize existing assets into an enterprise-grade platform.

Responsibilities

Lead the design and operation of the enterprise AI control plane and governance infrastructure
Build and scale engineering teams to deliver production-hardened AI platform capabilities
Establish policy-as-code infrastructure and runtime evidence pipelines for regulatory compliance
