About this role

The Director of Lab Operations leads end-to-end lab operations to ensure safe, high-quality, and efficient production execution in a semiconductor manufacturing environment. This role drives daily performance across Safety, Quality, and Output (SQO), oversees cleanroom and production control activities, and partners with engineering and customers to meet operational objectives. The position involves fostering a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and operational excellence while managing 24/7 operations.

Responsibilities

Lead end-to-end lab operations to ensure safe and efficient production execution
Drive achievement of daily, weekly, and quarterly production targets
Oversee cleanroom and production control activities through Team Leaders and operators
Lead root cause analysis using structured methodologies like 5 Whys and 8D
Monitor and ensure achievement of Safety, Quality, and Output targets

Skills

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Operations Management8+ years in semiconductor manufacturingExperience with Lean and Six Sigma methodologies
