About this role
The Director I, Technical Assistance is a senior leader who shapes and advances CEO’s strategy to expand income-supported reentry employment and strengthen the organization’s national reentry platform. The role supports CEO’s FY26–FY30 strategic plan by engaging with community-based organizations, public agencies, and workforce providers and by elevating CEO’s presence in national field-building and policy conversations. This position contributes to organizational growth, platform development, and mission-driven impact for people returning from incarceration.

Using a proven transitional employment model, CEO combines paid work, job-readiness training, individualized coaching, and employer partnerships to place participants in stable jobs. They provide ongoing case management and support to help participants retain employment, reduce recidivism, and rebuild economic stability. CEO partners with employers, justice systems, and funders to scale evidence-based reentry solutions.
