About this role

The Director of Internships & Applied Learning leads work-based learning initiatives at William & Mary, managing the Internship Funding Program and establishing micro-internships and mentorship experiences. Reporting to the Chief Career Officer, this role drives strategic planning, supervises professional staff, and fosters partnerships between students, alumni, and employers to close equity gaps and support career exploration.

Responsibilities

Supervise professional staff supporting internship and applied learning programs
Administer the Internship Funding Program to support student career exploration
Develop and implement experiential learning initiatives and employer partnerships
Lead the Internship & Experiential Opportunities Showcase event planning
Manage relationships with prospective employers and campus stakeholders
