About this role

The Director, Microgrid & Distributed Energy Strategy will lead end-to-end development of large‑scale microgrid and distributed energy projects, overseeing site evaluation, technical design, permitting, financing, construction, and energization. Reporting to the Chief Strategy Officer, the role combines hands‑on engineering, techno‑economic modeling, and commercial negotiation to deliver financeable, low‑risk power solutions for Crusoe’s AI infrastructure.

Responsibilities

Lead end-to-end development of microgrid and distributed energy projects
Build and own campus-level technoeconomic models for microgrid topologies
Negotiate and close high-impact commercial agreements and financing
