Director of Development (Remote)

The Director of Development leads IHS's major gifts fundraising and individual-donor relationship strategy, with primary accountability for growing philanthropic revenue across the frontline gift pipeline. Reporting to the Managing Director of Development and Communications, this role sets portfolio priorities, cultivation and solicitation strategy, and moves-management standards for major gifts while personally managing a select portfolio of the organization's highest-priority donors. The position involves leading the frontline gift-officer team, overseeing donor engagement, and driving fundraising strategy and revenue growth. This role requires strong leadership, strategic planning, and exceptional communication skills to advance IHS's mission of advancing freedom in the academy, public policy, and civil society.
