The Director of Health Information Management (HIM) & Coding oversees the management and integrity of patient health records, ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations like HIPAA. This role manages daily HIM operations, including medical record processing, coding, transcription, and release of information, while supporting accurate documentation and billing compliance. The position leads a multidisciplinary team to align patient access, clinical documentation, coding, billing, and reimbursement processes, resolving revenue leakage and integrity issues.
