The Director of IT Security is an executive-level leader responsible for the overall strategy, governance, and execution of the cybersecurity program, serving as the primary subject matter expert on information security risk. This role defines the strategic direction for cybersecurity, establishes governance frameworks, and ensures a defensible, measurable, and audit-ready posture while providing regular reporting to executive leadership. Additionally, the Director serves as a key enterprise leader in the responsible adoption of artificial intelligence, guiding its evaluation, implementation, and governance to deliver business value while maintaining appropriate security and compliance controls.
