Director of Mechanical Engineering

The Director of Mechanical Engineering at Eight Sleep will lead a team of 5-8 engineers in the development of complex electromechanical products, including their flagship product, the Pod. This role involves managing cross-functional engineering teams, overseeing product design for consumer electronics that integrate mechanisms, sensors, and thermal systems, and collaborating with senior leadership on product requirements and future roadmaps. Candidates should have 10+ years of experience in consumer electronics development, strong knowledge in mechanical engineering principles, and the ability to scale production in Asia.
