Director of Payroll

The Director of Payroll leads payroll operations for AMDA's Los Angeles and New York campuses and remote employees nationwide, processing full-cycle biweekly payroll and supervising Payroll Administrators. This fully in-person role reports to the Chief Financial Officer and Senior Vice President of Human Resources, ensuring compliance with financial controls, employment practices, and legal requirements. The position involves maintaining accurate payroll records, managing tax filings, and partnering with Finance and HR to resolve discrepancies and implement payroll-related directives.
