The Director of Programs leads strategic program development, implementation, and evaluation for Thunderbird Partnership Foundation, a non-profit serving First Nations in mental wellness. This role provides oversight to multiple teams including Policy, Mental Wellness, Youth Programs, and Research while fostering a culturally safe, high-performance workplace. The position involves building collaborative partnerships with Indigenous communities, Elders, and stakeholders to ensure compliance and drive organizational impact.

Responsibilities

Provide strategic leadership and oversight of program development and service delivery functions
Lead, mentor, and develop managers and staff through coaching and succession planning
Collaborate with Indigenous communities and Elders to shape culturally grounded program delivery
Oversee research function implementation including planning and evaluation of research projects
Ensure program compliance with federal, provincial, and governance requirements
