About this role
The Director of Underwriting will lead Sidecar Health’s group underwriting function as a hands-on leader and contributor, reporting to the VP of Actuarial & Underwriting. The role combines direct underwriting of complex, high-value cases with managing and developing a team, and partnering closely with Sales and Client Success to drive profitable growth and strengthen the company’s market presence. This position supports pricing and renewal strategies through cross-functional collaboration with Actuarial, Product, Finance, and Client Success.
