Director, Software Engineering - Tax Exempt

We are seeking a strategic and execution-focused Director of Software Engineering to lead the transformation of Walmart’s Tax-Exempt technology ecosystem into a unified omni-channel platform serving both brick-and-mortar and eCommerce experiences. This role drives the modernization, consolidation, and scalability of tax-exempt capabilities while ensuring compliance, operational excellence, and exceptional customer experiences across Walmart and Sam's Club. The ideal candidate combines deep engineering leadership with strong architectural vision and the ability to translate evolving tax laws into scalable technical solutions.
