Key duties include managing internal-use software capitalization (ASC 350-40), partnering with Engineering and Product teams, and overseeing month-end close processes.

Responsibilities

Serve as primary authority on complex US GAAP matters for SaaS industry standards
Lead research and resolution of non-routine business transactions like M&A
Direct strategy and execution of internal-use software capitalization processes
Own review of month-end and quarter-end financial close packages and reconciliations
Mentor and develop the technical accounting team and external valuation specialists
