About this role
AstraZeneca is hiring a Director to build and lead a high-performing upstream process development function supporting its emerging Cell Therapy modalities. The role will focus on Lentiviral Vector (LVV) manufacturing strategy and execution for suspension bioreactor platforms across research, IND-enabling, and late-stage readiness. This position is based in Gaithersburg, MD and operates in a collaborative, matrixed environment.
