Discrete Event Simulation Engineer

The Delivery Engineering Group conducts Discrete-Event Simulation studies for Delivery impact analysis of mass-pro Run-Rate and/or E-flow Investment change-points for New Model, Layout Inno/Renovation, and Capacity changes for Frame and Powertrain manufacturing regionally across North America. The role involves conducting mass production run-rate analysis studies utilizing Discrete Event Simulation and Data Analytics & Statistical tools to support Delivery run-rate target achievement in North America Weld and Assembly depts as part of Business Plan theme activity. The position also includes software training regarding simulation and data tools, and fulfilling manufacturing department requests to study delivery impact due to New Model/New Model-Tech/Innovation E-Flow investment studies to determine feasibility and Return On Investment by completing simulation model development, validation, scenario testing, sensitivity analysis and optimization.
