Dispatch Coordinator

This position coordinates dispatch services between requested departments, utilizing a multi-line telephone system to receive and relay information to appropriate units. The role involves collaborating with clinicians, physicians, and various external agencies to optimize patient throughput, coordinate inter-facility transfers, and manage patient admissions and placement within the hospital. The incumbent is responsible for creating and logging encounters, managing tele-medicine calls, and ensuring accurate patient data entry into electronic systems.
