Dispatcher

The Dispatcher serves as a non-exempt position under the Pottawatomie County Communication Supervisor, responsible for directing officers to locations needing assistance and advising them of potentially dangerous situations. This role involves helping the general public during crises, answering emergency 911 calls, and dispatching appropriate emergency services. The position requires excellent interpersonal communication skills and the ability to function calmly under severe stress.
