Disrepair Surveyor

The Disrepair Surveyor manages housing disrepair cases from inception to completion, ensuring compliance with statutory, contractual, and regulatory obligations. The role involves inspecting properties, diagnosing building defects, preparing specifications, managing remedial works, and providing technical expertise in response to legal disrepair claims. The post holder works closely with Legal Services, contractors, residents, and internal stakeholders to minimize legal exposure, improve resident satisfaction, and ensure homes are maintained to a safe and habitable standard.
