About this role
A Distinguished Engineer in Capital One’s Risk Tech organization will serve as the senior technical leader for Core Compliance, driving a transformation toward continuous monitoring of internal processes. The role reports to the Senior Director, combines hands‑on engineering (prototyping and coding) with technical strategy for GenAI adoption, and acts as a mentor and technical steward across the organization. This position is focused on shaping long‑term architecture and accelerating delivery using cloud and internal infrastructure.
