Distribution Assistant

The Distribution Assistant role involves learning to use tools and procedures for the construction, maintenance, and operation of the Gas Distribution system, including assisting in the installation of distribution pipes and fittings. The position provides hands-on experience and coaching through classroom and on-the-job training to prepare for advancement in welding, pipefitting, safety, and customer service. This role is part of the field operations team at FortisBC, supporting the delivery of renewable energy, natural gas, electricity, and propane to customers in B.C.
