District Officer

The District Officer serves as the operational and administrative supervisor for a designated Forestry Management District, directing daily operations including timber sale administration, forest engineering, and silvicultural development. The role focuses on optimizing long-term sustained-yield productivity and protecting tribal trust resources in accordance with the Colville Reservation Integrated Resource Management Plan. Additionally, the position provides operational or technical leadership support to the Wildland Fire Management program during periods of elevated fire danger.
