About this role
Three-year CIFRE doctoral position at Hitachi Rail’s Vélizy site to research and improve the safety of a Satellite Signal Map Matching (SSM) positioning technology for train localization. The role involves developing mathematical models and validation methods to protect positioning and confidence intervals against GNSS threats and qualifying the SSM architecture for safety-critical operation. The candidate will work within an R&D engineering team in partnership with a university and industry partners, using lab and field test assets.
