Dosimetrist

The Dosimetrist initiates and oversees the treatment planning process for external beam proton treatment plans under the direction of Radiation Oncologists and Medical Physicists. The role involves assisting with special procedures and brachytherapy treatment planning as needed. As the program develops, the position also includes providing training to dosimetrists, physicists, and radiation oncologists while adhering to safety and compliance programs.
