About this role

The Secondary Operator supports the operation of the Town of Manchester-by-the-Sea’s drinking water treatment facilities, including a surface water treatment plant, groundwater wells, and storage tank. The role focuses on ensuring reliable, safe drinking water by assisting with daily operations, regulatory sampling, and proper functioning of treatment processes and equipment. This position reports to the Plant Manager and works within an employee-owned, growth-oriented firm dedicated to environmental stewardship. It involves a rotating schedule with shared weekend, holiday, and on-call responsibilities.
