Driver Education Instructor

The Driver Education Instructor provides quality drivers education instruction to students in accordance with the State of Illinois Department of Transportation approved curricula at the Joliet Job Corps Center. This role involves teaching theory and application of automobile driving skills, reviewing motor vehicle regulations, and counseling students on behavior and study habits. The position requires maintaining student accountability, developing lesson plans, and ensuring compliance with Department of Labor and Management & Training Corporation directives.
