About this role

This role provides technical ownership of traction control, electric and hydraulic motor-control integration, and third-party controllers within the drivetrain. The position connects software, electronics, controls, and machine behavior to deliver safe, reliable, and high-performing Toro products. It involves developing embedded software, tuning control strategies, and validating system-level performance across multiple machine programs.

Responsibilities

Own embedded software and system integration for traction-control functions and drivetrain controllers
Lead technical integration and lifecycle management of third-party motor controllers and electronic control units
Develop and tune control strategies for propulsion, speed, torque requests, and fault responses

Skills

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Software, Electrical, Computer, Controls, Mechatronics Engineering, or a related field
