Fort McKay First Nation
The Educational Assistant will support students with a range of behavioral, emotional, and developmental needs, implementing teacher-directed programs and specialist strategies. Working collaboratively with teachers and a multidisciplinary team, the assistant will document progress, manage behavior, and provide high levels of structure and supervision both indoors and outdoors.
Fort McKay is located along the banks of the Athabasca River. There are approximately 800 members of Dene, Cree and Métis descent who live in Fort McKay.
