This position is responsible for performing highly skilled electric lineman work in the installation, maintenance, alteration, and repair of overhead electrical lines, underground cables, electrical substations, and related electrical equipment. The role involves climbing power poles, constructing new lines, performing switching operations, and responding to emergency calls during adverse weather or other situations. The Electric Lineman reports to the Electric Superintendent and may be required to work on-call rotations and emergency outages.
