About this role

Vertex Innovations seeks an Electrical Commissioning Project Manager to lead electrical commissioning efforts on large-scale, mission-critical data center construction projects. Acting as the senior commissioning authority and single point of accountability, the role involves coordinating the full commissioning lifecycle from design review to integrated systems testing in an Owner's Representative and Construction Management capacity.

Responsibilities

Lead and own the electrical commissioning program across all levels from factory testing to integrated systems testing
Develop and maintain commissioning schedules aligned with the overall construction sequence and milestones
Oversee commissioning of critical electrical infrastructure including switchgear, generators, UPS, and automatic transfer switches
Enforce QA/QC standards for electrical installation and testing while ensuring nonconformances are tracked to closure
Coordinate cross-discipline dependencies with mechanical, controls, and general contractor teams to sequence energization
