About this role

The Electrical Distribution Engineer is responsible for the commissioning, startup, and qualification of new power-distribution assets while ensuring the reliability and safety of existing infrastructure. This role involves hands-on field execution, rigorous documentation, and coordination with multidisciplinary teams to deliver robust electrical systems for industrial facilities. Key duties include verifying protection schemes, conducting safety verifications, and interfacing newly commissioned assets with SCADA platforms.

Responsibilities

Lead pre-commissioning and functional testing of electrical assets
Verify protection schemes operate per design intent and industry standards
Conduct detailed safety verifications including arc-flash analysis
Produce commissioning reports and close-out documentation
Interface newly commissioned assets with SCADA/EMS platforms
