About this role

The role involves preparing conceptual and detailed designs for hydroelectric balance‑of‑plant electrical systems, performing engineering studies, and developing technical specifications and design packages for major electrical equipment. The engineer will support project delivery activities, maintain documentation, and ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and quality standards while working in a hybrid environment based in Toronto.

Responsibilities

Prepare conceptual and detailed hydroelectric balance‑of‑plant electrical designs
Perform protection coordination, short‑circuit, load flow and arc‑flash studies using ETAP
Coordinate project delivery activities including estimating, proposals, field reviews and commissioning support

Qualifications

Bachelors in Electrical EngineeringProfessional Engineer (P.Eng.) designation
