About this role

This role provides technical expertise in Electrical Engineering with a focus on heavy power, high/medium/low voltage design, and transmission/distribution for new gas generation projects. The engineer will support project development across Ameren Power Operations, offering guidance, review, and quality assurance for internal and external engineering teams throughout design, construction, and startup phases. Responsibilities include interfacing with vendors, regulatory agencies, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality engineering solutions.

Responsibilities

Lead project development for new gas generation facilities
Provide technical support and engineering recommendations across all project phases
Review and ensure quality of external engineer and contractor work
Interface with vendors, contractors, and regulatory agencies
Stay current with turbine-generator and auxiliary EE technology improvements
