This role is responsible for the day-to-day operation and maintenance of the electrical plant and associated electrical systems on a vessel. The position requires working within the Electrical team to perform maintenance and repairs on various high and low voltage distribution systems, safety systems, and hotel systems. The incumbent must ensure compliance with standard electrical safety routines and coordinate with the Duty Engineer before starting any electrical work.
