About this role

This internship role within Parsons' Federal Solutions team pairs engineering interns with mentors to gain foundational knowledge in electrical engineering principles, design standards, and construction practices. Interns will assist in creating working drawings from technical notes and specifications while learning about electromechanical equipment and systems across various engineering disciplines. The position offers exposure to the full engineering design lifecycle and interaction with senior management within the organization.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with mentors on varied engineering support assignments
Translate engineering notes and sketches into working drawings
Develop practical knowledge of electromechanical equipment and systems
Gain insight into the electrical engineering design lifecycle
Support electrical engineers in federal solutions projects
