About this role

This role serves as a Lead Designer responsible for supervising a team and providing technical direction for electrical and instrumentation deliverables. The incumbent ensures projects are completed on time and within budget while mentoring staff and coordinating with other disciplines. Extensive experience in industrial design and project controls is required to lead design efforts with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

Supervise and provide technical direction to a team of designers
Deliver electrical and instrumentation designs within performance budgets
Mentor less experienced drafting personnel and coordinate cross-discipline efforts
Develop equipment specifications and construction cost estimates
Check calculations to ensure accuracy and conformance to codes
