About this role

Plains is seeking an Electrical & Instrumentation Technician to support safe and reliable operation of its Fort Laramie, Wyoming facilities. The role involves maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing, installing, and commissioning electrical and instrumentation equipment, as well as providing on‑call support for emergency response and maintenance needs.

Responsibilities

Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical and instrumentation equipment
Install, program, and commission PLCs, communication systems, and HMIs
Inspect, test, and calibrate instrumentation and control systems
Develop and execute equipment lockouts and perform preventive maintenance
Participate in on‑call rotation for emergency response and maintenance
