About this role

The Electrical Manager leads the management of the electrical trades for a project, responsible for estimating and preconstruction tasks, developing work plans, and coordinating with the Lead Estimating Manager / Preconstruction Manager.

Responsibilities

Lead the management of the electrical trades for a project, including estimating and preconstruction tasks
Develop work plans and identify resources required for projects
Coordinate with the Lead Estimating Manager / Preconstruction Manager
Prepare detailed estimates at all phases of design
Manage and coordinate division 16 with all other divisions

Skills

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, architecture or related field or equivalent relevant experienceAt least five (5) years’ experience in estimating for commercial constructionExperience leading the bidding and budgeting process for the electrical trades for a projectKnowledge of principles and practices of engineering and construction management, including safety, quality, constructability, and sustainability standardsLeadership level communication and organization skills
