About this role

Axiom Space is seeking a resilient and high-energy Electrical Power Batteries and Controls Engineer Principal to own the energy storage segment of the Axiom Station Electrical Power System. This role involves defining requirements, performing system sizing analyses, and managing supplier engagements for a high voltage lithium-ion energy storage system. The engineer will lead verification strategies, support safety analyses, and integrate the energy storage segment with the broader vehicle systems.

Responsibilities

Own energy storage requirements and verify system performance through analysis
Define electrical interfaces and author interface control documents for battery systems
Lead supplier engagement and manage technical scope for power conditioning components
