About this role

Blue Origin is seeking an experienced Electrical Power Engineer to join the TeraWave team, responsible for the architecture, design, analysis, and verification of electrical power subsystems for satellite payloads. The role involves developing robust, flight-qualified power electronics hardware that meets demanding performance, mass, reliability, and environmental requirements for a space-based constellation. This position reports directly to the TeraWave Avionics Senior Manager and contributes to the design and delivery of flight hardware.

Responsibilities

Lead design and qualification of isolated DC-DC power conversion systems
Develop and maintain power system architectures for satellite applications
Execute design verification analyses including worst case and reliability analysis

Skills

Qualifications

B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering or closely related engineering disciplineM.S. degree in Electrical Engineering with emphasis in power electronics or power systems
