Electrical Signal Trainee

Apprentice Signal Trainees undergo a 52-week paid training program to perform duties of Signal Workers, ensuring compliance with FRA regulations and supporting safe railroad operations. The role involves installing, repairing, and maintaining signal systems, crossings, and related equipment while participating in hands-on field training and classroom instruction. Successful completion leads to placement on a seniority roster for Signalman or Signal Maintainer roles.
