About this role

The Electrical Substation Designer II is responsible for the technical execution of substation drawing packages, including equipment layouts, protection and control schematics, and civil/structural details.

Responsibilities

Coordinates with clients, architects, and other discipline engineers to complete drawing packages
Creates details as required to define installation for construction
Maintains data integrity and follows established standardized workflows
Performs coordination with other trades to complete substation drawings
Actively contributes to the development of intelligent CAD libraries

Skills

Qualifications

Postsecondary non-degree award or certification in Engineering or related disciplineMinimum 5 years’ experience as a Designer with knowledge of electrical symbols, layouts schematic logic of substations
