About this role

Plains is seeking a skilled Electrical/Instrumentation Technician to support facilities in Regina, Saskatchewan, ensuring the safe and efficient operation of stations, terminals, and gathering systems. The role involves maintaining, troubleshooting, and installing various electrical and instrumentation equipment while adhering to Canadian Electrical Code requirements. As a key member of the Electrical, Instrumentation, and Controls department, the technician will work autonomously to solve problems and maintain system reliability.

Responsibilities

Maintain and repair electrical equipment like PLCs and motor control centers
Inspect and test instrumentation systems to diagnose faults
Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on electrical and instrumentation equipment
Consult circuit diagrams and blueprints to determine maintenance procedures
Complete written and electronic records for work documentation
