Electronic Engineering Summer Placement

An Electronic Engineering Summer Placement at Leonardo is a 13-week paid programme based in Edinburgh that gives students hands-on experience working on real-world avionics and hardware projects alongside scientists and engineers. Running from 1 June to 28 August 2026, the placement helps students apply their academic studies in a practical setting while receiving coaching from subject-matter experts and the potential to progress to future placements or the Graduate Development Programme. Students are expected to spend several days per week on site to integrate with their teams.
