About this role

Parsons is seeking an Electronics Technician to support the FAA's Capital Investment Plan by performing site preparation, installation, and repair of electronic equipment, wiring, and communication systems across the nation. The role involves working in extreme weather conditions, handling heavy components, and utilizing various test instruments to troubleshoot and maintain complex electronic devices. This position requires extensive travel throughout the FAA Central Service area, including nine regions and U.S. territories.

Responsibilities

Install and repair electronic components, wires, and terminal blocks
Support site preparation for FENS racks and LTE antenna installation
Test and troubleshoot electrical components using schematics and test equipment
Solder, splice, and install various wire types including coaxial and shielded cables
Align and calibrate audio equipment and voice communication systems
